Crònica TBAP 2022Nos alegra poder compartir este resumen de parte de lo vivido el fin de semana del 29 de abril al 1 de mayo con motivo de la celebración del TBAP 2022. Como sabéis, y después de la pandemia, pudimos por fin organizar y disfrutar del Torneig Barceloní de Pinball en #LaNau, el local de la asociación A.R.C.A.D.E.
Frenzy del viernes
El #TBAP22 arrancó el viernes 29 de abril con un torneo Frenzy como sede Stern Army. Era la mejor manera para calentar motores y para que los jugadores que ya estaban por la zona pudieran tener una primera toma de contacto con los pinballs presentes en #LaNau. El Frenzy sumó hasta 34 jugadores de muy alto nivel que no pararon de enfrentarse de manera aleatoria desde las 19:30 hasta la medianoche. Darle a los petacos requiere energía, así que de 21 a 22 fue indispensable una parada para cenar a base de un cargamento variado de pizzas.
Una de las novedades del #TBAP22 ha sido la fantástica retransmisión en directo a través del canal de Twitch de la asociación. El trabajo voluntario de un grupo de socios durante las semanas previas lo hizo posible. Para muestra, aquí tenéis la final del Frenzy del viernes:

Sábado, 1ª jornada del TBAP 2022Sábado 30 de Abril a las 9 de la mañana arrancaba oficialmente el TBAP 2022. Hasta 56 participantes llegados de varios rincones de España y de algunos países de Europa llegaron puntuales a la cita. Además, y por tercer torneo consecutivo, participó el rookie de la casa, Eren, el jugador más pequeño con 7 años.
Durante semanas se trabajó a contrarreloj para tener #LaNau a punto y convertirla en el mejor hogar para cerca de 100 pinballs de todas las épocas. El torneo incluía modalidad moderna y clásica. Y para que los dedos no pararan en ningún momento, entre los pinballs en competición se habilitó un pasillo con máquinas en Free to Play y un pinball solidario, iniciativa que explicamos más adelante.
La jornada del sábado se dedicó íntegramente a las rondas clasificatorias de las modalidades moderna y clásica.

MEJORES MOMENTOS RONDA CLASIFICATORIADomingo, 2ª jornada del TBAP 2022La jornada del domingo fue la de las grandes finales del torneo de clásicas y modernas. Además, se organizaron tres minitorneos: Pinball por Parejas, Pinball a Ciegas y Pinball Precio Justo. Además, de las finales, se conoció el nombre del Gran Campeón del TBAP, así como del ganador del Pinball solidario.
Minitorneos
El minitorneo por Parejas se jugó en una “Start Trek” de STERN. Cada jugador se ocupa de uno de los flippers, con lo que la coordinación se complica. La pareja campeona fue la formada por
Jose Maria “TiltMan” y César Dubón “Pipo”.
El pinball a Ciegas se jugó en “The Flintstones” con el 80 % del playfield tapado. El campeón de pinball fue
Mario "Pinballhéro".
El minitorneo de Precio Justo consistía en aproximarse, sin pasarse, a los 300422 puntos en el pinball “Cherokee”, de Recreativos Franco. El campeón fue Víctor Cerdanya.
Pinball solidarioPor primera vez, se organizó en el marco del TBAP un pinball solidario. Para ello, se dispuso una mesa “Circus” de Gottlieb cedida por El Museo del Recreativo de Jaén. Las partidas eran de pago y la recaudación se donará a la ONG Aprenem, entidad que tiene por objetivo reivindicar los derechos de los niños con autismo.
El ganador, Toni “Pinball Project”, fue la persona que consiguió la puntuación más alta durante todo el fin de semana. El premio, además de apoyar la causa solidario, incluía una cesta de productos catalanes de km 0.
Al finalizar la jornada, el pinball había recaudado 195 EUR a los que había que sumar 105 EUR de una donación anónima. En total, 300 EUR para

PLAYOFFS MODERNASAmbos campeones ya quedan inscritos para el TBAP2023.Gran Campeón del TBAPTodas las partidas jugadas durante las rondas clasificatorias sumaban para el título de Gran Campeón del TBAP. Y todo gran campeón merece un gran premio. En este caso, Julio Vicario, además de ganador en la categoría de clásicas, fue quien sumó más puntos globalmente con 32 victorias. Se le hizo entrega de un pinball NBA MAC restaurado íntegramente por miembros de la asociación, un regalo muy especial que resumen en sus artes los 8 años de historia de la asociación A.R.C.A.D.E.

Friday FrenzyThe #TBAP22 kicked off on Friday April 29th with a Frenzy tournament hosted as Stern Army site. It was the best way to warm up. For players who were already in the area, they could have a first contact with the pinballs in #LaNau. The Frenzy gathered up to 34 players of very high level who did not stop playing games randomly from 19:30 until midnight. Hitting flippers requires energy, so from 21:00 to 22:00 a dinner stop with a varied load of pizzas was essential.
One of the novelties of #TBAP22 was the fantastic live streaming via the association's Twitch channel. The voluntary work of a group of members during the previous weeks made it possible. As a sample, here you have the final of Friday's Frenzy:

Up to 56 participants from various corners of Spain and some European countries arrived punctually to the event. In addition, and for the third consecutive tournament, the rookie of the house, Eren, the youngest player at 7 years old, participated.
For weeks we worked against the clock to get #LaNau ready and turn it into the best home for about 100 pinballs of all ages. The tournament included modern and classic modes. And fingers did not stop at any time: between the pinballs in competition, there was a corridor with machines in Free to Play and a charity pinball, an initiative that we explain below.
Saturday was devoted entirely to the qualifying rounds of the modern and classic modalities.

QUALIFICATION ROUNDSunday, 2nd day of TBAP 2022Sunday was the day of the grand finals of the classic and modern tournament. In addition, three mini-tournaments were organized: Pinball for Couples, Blind Pinball and The Price is Right Pinball. In addition to the finals, the name of the TBAP Grand Champion was announced, as well as the winner of the Charity Pinball.
The Pinball for Couples mini-tournament was played in a STERN "Start Trek". Each player is in charge of one of the flippers, which complicates coordination. The winning couple was formed by Jose Maria "TiltMan" and César Dubón "Pipo".
The Blind Pinball was played in "The Flintstones" with 80% of the playfield covered. The pinball champion was Mario "Pinballhero".
The Price is Right Pinball mini-tournament consisted in approaching, without going over, 300422 points in the pinball "Cherokee", from Recreativos Franco. The champion was Víctor Cerdanya.
Charity pinballFor the first time, a charity pinball was organized within the framework of TBAP. For this purpose, a Gottlieb "Circus" table was provided by Jaén Arcade Museum. The games were paid and the proceeds will be donated to the NGO Aprenem, an organization that fights for the rights of children with autism.
The winner, Toni "Pinball Project", was the person who got the highest score during the whole weekend. The prize, in addition to supporting the solidarity cause, included a basket of local Catalan products.

And every grand champion deserves a grand prize. In this case, Julio Vicario, in addition to winning the classic category, was the one who scored the most points overall with 32 wins.
