Hi everybody

Some news from France. My MPU-III and MPU-V are working. I can test them on test boards.



Now I can build them. One board for the MPU-III and one board for MPU-V because the connectors of the displays are not the same.





I am waiting for the last components ( sockets, resistors and transistors ).

Hello everybody

My MPU Y is working like a MPU III in my Megaaton ! I can play without problem.





Now I will try to improve it because for the MPU III I made an adaptator for the displays. I will put it on the pcb. The regulator 5V and the big resistor close to the regulator are very hot. I do not know if it is normal.
I will try it like a MPU V too in another pinball but I haven't got it so a friend of mine will try it.

I think I solved my problem. For some logic ic I use 74ls373 and I should use 74hc373.

My Mpu V is working !
This is my new mpu. In fact, this is either mpu III or MPU V. I just have to change some components on the board. I tested my MPU in my Megaaton. This pinball uses a mpu III. I can play. No problem. I just have sometimes some problems with the music. I have to fix it.
Now I am going to test the mpu v version.

Some news about my mpu V

I tested it in my Megaaton and the lights are working.
I made some little mistakes on my pcb as you can see on the picture so I will order another pcb without the mistakes.
I want to test the displays but I can't do it with my Megaaton because it uses a mpu 3 and the displays don' t work with a mpu V. I must change some components on the MPU V if I want to test it with my pinball. So I am looking for a display board for a MPU V and a sound IV too.

Hi everybody

I make a MPU V for some Playmatic pinballs but I have some problems with my board. So I need your help.
The power part is working, the cpu part seems to work too. I have a problem with one ic ( CD 4028 ). Some MPU V use a CDP 1853 and others use CD 4028. I choose CD 4028 because it is easy to find and it is cheap. But I think there is a mistake on the scheme from idpb or tecnopinball. I am looking for someone who has got a MPU V with a cd 4028 ( U7 ) to verify the connections with the other ic.

For my cpu board I've got all the files except U8 from Black Fever.
Does anyone have the file or the old eprom from Black Fever ? I can read the 2708 eprom with my programmer.

I can find all the components on internet. The most difficult to find is the CDP1859 because it's a little bit expensive but you can see it on internet. I ordered the components and I'll receive them soon. The other problem is to test the eprom files from tecnopinball because some files are wrong. For exemple it lacks U8 from Black Fever. I try to find it. The board is working on my Attack.
